Unidos is Spanish for "United". One of our goals is to partner with local Nicaraguan churches who don’t currently offer a kids’ program. Many of these churches do not have the resources or staffing to directly reach kids even though they have the desire. We will train the local churches leadership and staff and then launch a kids’ program. We believe this can have an awesome impact. We believe this plan will bring significant levels of growth that has many benefits. First, we will create curriculum and resources that can be distributed to meet the needs of every location. This will create uniformity between all of the centers, save on cost of production, and increase the quality and impact. This will free the time and energy of workers at each location, allowing us to reach our second goal of ministering to more children and youth on a personal level. This will not only reach kids, but will build up the local Nicaraguan church. As the kids’ program grows, so will the strength of the local church hosting the program. We currently have one church partnership and plan on expanding our partnerships to 3 more churches in 2012.
