Interested in serving God as a long-term missionary? One by One offers the chance to serve in a variety of different ministry positions. Here is our process:
- Pray. Ask God and He will direct your steps.
- Ask. Ask the people in your life who love both God and you what you should do.
- Apply. Completely fill out the long-term missionary application.
- 1st Interview. You will have an in-depth interview with the One by One Director or Assistant Director.
- Visit. Once the first interview is completed, a time to visit will be arranged for you. We ask that you pay for your airfare to Nicaragua, but we will take care of you while you are here. This visit should be for a minimum of one week. During this week, you will go through a second group interview with our staff in Nicaragua. You will also recieve training on fundraising while you are here.
- Support Raise. If you have been accepted to join One by One, the support raising process begins immediately with a move date established.
- Move.
- Adapt. Your only priorities when you first move to Nicaragua will be to learn Spanish and to get settled into life here in Nicaragua.
- Serve.
